AMU seeks more land from Bihar government for new campus
Lucknow, Sep 24 (IANS) After Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar offered 100 acres of land to the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) to set up a centre in his state, the varsity Thursday asked for another 150-200 acres.

"As per the lay-out proposed for the upcoming campus, we would require around 250-300 acres of land," AMU spokesman Rahat Abrar told IANS over telephone.

Court asks DU to issue migration certificate
New Delhi, Sep 24 (IANS) Delhi High Court Thursday asked Delhi University (DU) to issue a migration certificate to a student who wanted to shift to another college due to safety concerns.

Shimla, Sep 24 (IANS) A senior professor in Himachal Pradesh has been arrested on charges of making advances towards a woman student, an official said Thursday.
