TDP to unleash Junior NTR to counter Chiranjeevi
Hyderabad, Nov 20 (IANS) Former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N.T. Rama Rao's grandson and popular Telugu actor Junior NTR is all set to campaign for the main opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP).

Raipur, Nov 20 (IANS) The electoral exercise in Chhattisgarh to pick a 90-member State Assembly concluded with the close of the second phase of polling Thursday evening with an impressive turnout of voters.

Polling begins on enthusiastic note in Chhattisgarh
Raipur, Nov 20 (IANS) Polling for the final phase of the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh's 51 constituencies began Thursday morning with enthusiastic voters queuing up at polling stations in large numbers.

Jogi unhurt in attack
Raipur, Nov 20 (IANS) Former Chhattisgarh chief minister and Congress leader Ajit Jogi was unhurt Thursday when some people stoned his convoy in Bilaspur district where he is contesting assembly elections.

Police said the attack took place in village Girbar after he halted at a polling station along with dozens of supporters. Voting was in progress there.
